How can I import inventory?

With the import, you create many inventory items at once instead of entering each one individually. Here is how:

1. Click on the corresponding importer and then on "Open".
2. Download the .csv file template there and insert your data.
3. Drag the .csv file you want to import into the drag-and-drop field and upload it.
4. The file is then validated, and any errors are displayed.
5. If the validation result is positive, you can import the data.

The templates for inventory items, quantity inventory and consumables have the optional column "Status" as their last fixed column. Enter the name or key of a status there, for example "active" or "in_maintenance". If you leave the field empty, the item is created as "Active". You can still import files without this column.

If custom inventory statuses are activated for your account, you can also enter their name or key, provided the status is not archived and applies to the inventory type.
