Welcome to Inventory ONE! This guide will help you quickly and efficiently become familiar with the software. Follow the steps below to utilise the key features.
1. Create Receivers and Users
To use the application effectively, start by creating receivers and users.
Step 1: Navigate to the receivers overview.

Step 2: Click the "Create Receiver" button.
- Select the appropriate recipient type (e.g., user, employee, external person).
- Fill in all the required information and save the new receiver.

Step 3: Repeat the process to create users.
- Ensure that you assign a role (e.g., administrator, employee) for each user.
2. Define Storages
Once you have created your receivers and users, the next step is to define the storages.
Step 1: Go to the storages overview.

Step 2: Click on "Create Storage".
- Provide a name and description for the storage.
- Optionally, you can assign a location if one is already available.

Step 3: Assign users to the storages.
- Open the warehouse details and navigate to the "User Assignment" section.
- Add the appropriate users who should have access to the storage.
3. Create Inventory
You are now ready to create your inventory.
Step 1: Go to the inventory overview.

Step 2: Click on "Create Inventory".
- Fill in the creation form to establish new inventory, ensuring that you complete all required fields.

Alternatively: If you already have inventory in an Excel spreadsheet:
- Save the Excel file as a .csv file.
- Click on the importer and follow the instructions to upload your .csv file.

4. Assign Inventory
After creating your inventory, you can assign it to the corresponding recipients.
- Step 1: Go to the inventory overview and select the desired inventory.

Step 2: Click the "Assign" button.
- Choose the recipient to whom the inventory should be assigned.
- Adjust the quantity as needed and confirm the assignment.
5. Monitoring and Management
Once all steps are complete, you can continue to use the application to:
- Manage inventory (edit, delete, etc.).
- Make and manage reservations.
- Generate reports and monitor the status of recipients and inventory levels.
