1. Download and Prepare the CSV Template
Download the CSV template: Download the provided template. It contains the necessary columns and the correct format.
CSV File Fields: The CSV file should include the following columns:
- Inventory Number (Required): Enter the inventory number to identify the corresponding inventory in the system.
- CurrentInspectionDate (Required): This date indicates when the inventory was last inspected and will be updated in the system as the "Last Inspection Date."
- NextInspectionAppointmentName (Optional): The name of the next inspection appointment, if available.
- NextInspectionAppointmentDate (Optional): The date of the next inspection appointment. Along with the appointment name, this will create a new inspection appointment.

Note: Do not change the column headers or the structure of the table. Only add your data to the template.
2. Upload the CSV File
- Go to the Import section in Inventory ONE.
- Upload the prepared CSV file by clicking on Drop or Select File and selecting the file from your computer.
3. File Validation
After uploading, the CSV file will first be validated. The system will check if the required fields are correctly filled in and whether the data formats meet the requirements (e.g., date format DD.MM.YYYY).

Errors during validation: If there are errors during validation (e.g., missing required fields or incorrect date format), they will be displayed. You need to correct the errors and re-upload the file.

- Incorrect date format in the next inspection appointment date

Successful validation: If the validation is successful and no errors are found, you can proceed to the next step.
4. Save Data
Save data: Once the file is successfully validated, you can click on Save Data to transfer the imported inspection data into the system.
Reviewing the data: After saving, you can check the updated inventory in the system. The "Last Inspection Date" should be updated according to the data in the CSV file. If the optional fields "NextInspectionAppointmentName" and "NextInspectionAppointmentDate" were filled in, a new inspection appointment with the specified name and date will be created.
5. Tips and Advice
- Use the provided CSV template to ensure the file structure is correct.
- Pay attention to the correct date format (DD.MM.YYYY) to avoid validation errors.
- Make sure that the inventory numbers entered exactly match those in the system.
