Start Guide for the Mobile App

Welcome to Inventory ONE! This guide helps you get started with the mobile app quickly.

Step 1: Create users in the web application

Before you can use the app, users must be created in the web application. During registration, you choose whether users should log in via email or phone number:

  • Login via email: Users receive an email in which they can set their password. They then log in to the app with this password.
  • Login via phone number: Users request a PIN, which is sent via SMS. This PIN is verified during login.

Tip: Practical experience shows that the app is best rolled out department by department. Give users a short training in groups — this takes about 15 to 30 minutes.

Step 2: Key features

"My Inventory" tab

The "My Inventory" tab shows the inventory assigned to you. When you click on an inventory item, you can perform various actions:

  • Return inventory: Return inventory items you no longer need.
  • Transfer inventory to colleagues: Quickly and easily share your inventory with colleagues.
  • Report issues: If there is a problem with an inventory item, you can report it right here.

"Search" tab

In the "Search" tab, you can search for inventory items. This is how you find out where a specific item is located and to whom it is assigned.

"My QR Code" tab

The last tab displays your personal QR code. You present it, for example, when transferring or assigning inventory — it simplifies identification and assignments within the app.

With this start guide, you are well-equipped to use Inventory ONE effectively. Good luck managing your inventory!
